Aadhaar Card Update: Many types of documents are made in the country for different purposes, most of them are also useful as ID proof. Aadhar card is also one of such important documents. Aadhaar card is used by crores of Indians and you need it for everything from opening a bank account to getting a SIM card. There are often many types of mistakes in people’s Aadhar cards, which have to be corrected later. Now the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has issued a new notification regarding Aadhaar. In which after updating Aadhaar, you will now have to fill a new form.
Online correction will be easy
In this information revealed regarding Aadhaar card, it has been told that now correction in Aadhaar will become even easier. Now those things are also being included in online correction, which earlier had to be updated by visiting the centre. Now almost all corrections can be updated online. This means that now you will not need to run to the Aadhaar center for every work.
The old form for making new Aadhar card and updating Aadhar has been replaced with a new form, in this new form you will also be given some more options. Any person above 18 years of age can fill Form-1. You will see different categories in it, you can make any correction or update in it.
NRI form also released
Form-2 and Form-3 have also been issued for Indians living abroad i.e. NRI’s. Those people who have certificate of address outside India will come under Form-2. People with Indian address can use Form-3. Similarly, separate forms have been issued for different categories.
